Beverly Keel was honored at a luncheon in March as one of the top “Women in Business” for 2014 by Murfreesboro Magazine.The 15 women selected by the magazine were celebrated not only for their business achievements but for their leadership roles in the Murfreesboro community.
Chair of the Department of Recording Industry, Keel boasts as an award-winning journalism career that spans two decades. She has written about some of the nation’s biggest stars in music and entertainment, and her work has been featured in InStyle, New York Oxford American, Rolling Stone and dozens of other publications. She is a Nashville native who earned her bachelor’s degree from MTSU and her master’s degree from Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.
