Match Records artist Luke Caccetta recently celebrated the launch of his debut album Cheers with a series of promotional performances across Middle Tennessee. Match Records is MTSU’s student-run artist development and recording studio.
Caccetta kicked off his release party with a mini-concert on “Main Street” inside the College of Mass Communication building, followed by a performance to a packed house at The Rutledge in Nashville. In the works since 2012, Cheers is a five-track EP that reached No. 149 on the iTunes album charts in April 2014.
Originally from Williamsburg, Va., Caccetta starting performing age the age of 16. Now, at 20, he’s a rising star on the Nashville music scene and writes and performs his own material. He’s a member of the Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI) and recently performed at the Bluebird Café.
