College of Media and Entertainment students and faculty got some behind-the scenes instruction at rehearsals before the April 7 Academy of Country Music Awards in Las Vegas.
LAS VEGAS — As the clock ticked to showtime for the 53rd annual Academy of Country Music Awards on April 15, Pete Fisher reflected on his journey from Middle Tennessee State University student to CEO of one of music’s biggest events.
The college’s faculty, staff and students were an integral part of two college-sponsored events that celebrated the “Great Tennessee Eclipse” on Monday, Aug. 21.
On Dec 12, the Electronic Media Communication student-staffed production company, “EMC Productions,” produced the Middle Tennessee/Auburn men’s basketball game for the Conference USA Digital Network, Blue Raiders Network and MT10, the college’s student-run television station.
About 40 College of Mass Communication students, faculty and staff braved the heat and rain for the opportunity to promote 24/7 coverage of the 2015 Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival.
