Fans were out to support Match Records’ Artist Showcase on the first day of May at Soulshine Pizza Factory in Nashville.
Stacy Merida is a Recording Industry assistant professor of music business and the faculty adviser to Match Records, the student-run record label. She joined Recording Industry in 2012 as a full-time lecturer.
MTSU honored Alicia Warwick, executive director of The Recording Academy’s Nashville chapter, at a Feb. 7 event in downtown Los Angeles as part of the university’s second-annual outreach during the GRAMMY Awards.
The campus rocked on Aug. 29 when the College of Mass Communication’s student record label produced a concert, Match Records Presents: Welcome Week 2014, on the Student Union Commons.
