Students and faculty from the School of Journalism, Department of Electronic Media Communication and WMOT Radio are still celebrating after attending the Tennessee Associated Press College Awards banquet in Nashville in March.

WMOT Program Director and MTSU alumnus (’83) Greg Lee Hunt was presented with the Nashville Jazz Workshop Heritage Award at the annual fall Jazzmania jazz party and fundraiser, held at The Factory in Franklin.

The large, reflective glass doors on the first floor of the Mass Communication Building mark the entrance to a pioneering space designed as an outlet for student media and state-of-the-art instruction. It’s MTSU’s new Center for Innovation in Media.
