Joseph Akins released a new CD/album on Sept. 12, his sixth instrumental album since 2007. The album, entitled “Into The Flow” and available on iTunes, Spotify and Amazon, reached No. 9 on the Billboard New Age Album chart the week of Oct. 7.
On Sept. 8, an hour-long screening of The Vietnam War, a documentary film by Ken Burns and Lynn Novick, preceded a panel discussion and Q&A on the impact of journalism and war coverage during the Vietnam War.
Just days after the Great Tennessee Eclipse, the Baldwin Photographic Gallery opened its first Fall 2017 exhibit, Constellation: Fifteen Fine Art Photographers. The show will run through Oct. 20, 2017.
