The College of Media and Entertainment was well represented at the 2019 Nashville Film Festival, scheduled for Oct. 3 through 12.

College of Media and Entertainment students and faculty got some behind-the scenes instruction at rehearsals before the April 7 Academy of Country Music Awards in Las Vegas.

Blackman High School juniors who are part of the Blackman Collegiate Academy partnership with MTSU learned about biology research, the recording industry, how foreign languages can enhance their lives, photography, unmanned aircraft systems and more.

Mr. Temple and the Tigerbelles, a new documentary written and directed by Academy Award nominee and Emmy-winning filmmaker Tom Neff, will preview at the Nashville Public Library Main Branch on Oct. 18 at 7 p.m.

MTSU animation students returned home with some hardware after using some hands-on teamwork, technical skills and creativity during the second annual Wonderful World: 2018 International Students Ocean Short Film Exhibition held in Guiyang, China.

The College of Mass Communication is now the College of Media and Entertainment, and a T-shirt party on Aug. 26 certainly helped spread the word.

MTSU’s Department of Electronic Media Communication held its second annual “First Look” media festival at the Belcourt Theatre in Nashville on May 8.

MTSU’s College of Mass Communication is ranked among the top 20 programs in the United States, according to a survey by a popular news-industry trade publication.
