If you’re like most curious students, you probably look up your professors before class has even started, hoping to get the scoop from fellow students on everything from attendance policies to whether they bring in snacks on test days.

MTSU award-winning student journalist Sarah Grace Taylor made her way to Japan in recent weeks after being chosen as one of nine winners of the Roy W. Howard National Collegiate Reporting Competition.

Students in the College of Media and Entertainment received 37 awards, including 12 first place awards, at the 2017 Tennessee Associated Press Broadcast and Media Editors College Contest on Saturday, April 8.
