The Department of Recording Industry held the annual Career and Internship Fair earlier than usual this year in the Bragg Media and Entertainment Building – and the March 2 date drew a recording breaking number of companies to campus.  

The Bragg Media and Entertainment Building’s Main Street was buzzing the morning of March 22 as a record number of music companies participated in the Department of Recording Industry’s annual Career Fair.

Mass Comm’s main street was packed the morning of April 7 with booths from multiple music companies – Sony/SATV Music Publishing, Music City Roots and SESAC, just to name a few – for Recording Industry’s annual Career Fair.

The College of Mass Communication continues to bridge the gap between the classroom and the recording industry with the announcement of a new partnership between the Department of Recording Industry and Sony/ATV Music Publishing Nashville.

You work in publishing for Sony/ATV Music Publishing. How did you get started in the music industry, and what are some of your favorite aspects of your job?
